Prestige Path is an event in De Pride Isle Sanatorium and is the current way to hire Nurses, succeeding the Nurse Applications, which are now permanently discontinued. The event lasts for a week, and Divinors, LGBTQ+ Divinors, and Tourists can participate if they would like to become a nurse.

Prestige[]

If a Divinor/LGBTQ+ Divinor would like to enter an event to have a chance at becoming a Torium Trainee, they will have to complete seven paths. To complete a path, they will have to gain something called Prestige.

The amount of Prestige gained per task relies on the size of the server. For example, larger servers with more players present will give more Prestige per task, and smaller servers will award less. On the first day of the event beginning, only one day of fulfilling Prestige can be done, and the next day opens ~24 hours later. This same rule applies for the week-long duration of the event. However, if a player misses a day, they can still recover.

There are many ways to gain Prestige, but one common way is by doing chores such as cleaning blood stains off the floor, washing linens, and doing the dishes. Another common way to gain Prestige is by drinking Holy Water. An easy way to obtain Holy Water is by participating in activities with prizes or being given a jar during distribution on Sundays. Usually, a nurse will hand you a jar of Holy Water if they notice that you are working hard (like doing many chores around the sanatorium).

Another way is being present in a room when a nurse holds out a Rosary. Nurses usually hold out the Rosary during activities such as Meditation, Yoga, Bible Studies, Chantries, etc. But nurses can also be seen holding out the Rosary during events like distribution. If a nurse holds a Rosary, every Divinor/Tourist in the area will receive a boost in Prestige. Players may also gain Prestige by saying "Amen" after prayers (which occur before breakfast or dinner when the ward is properly staffed).

Patients can also receive Prestige by purchasing and giving away roses from either the express shop (77 robux) or from the shop located outside the sanatorium (66 robux). Giving roses to other patients and nurses will grant the same amount of Prestige, even if some have been consumed. Once a player receives Prestige from giving roses, the roses will not grant the player any more Prestige if they are to try to give away the same flowers again. Giving roses to other players gives around the same amount of Prestige as drinking Holy Water.

Unfortunately, there are ways in which a Citizen can lose Prestige, such as roaming outside of the dormitories during nightfall, ending up in Isolation, and being hit by the Holy Stick of a nurse.

One of the most common ways of losing Prestige is having a lice infestation. If you catch a lice infection, it may prevent you from gaining Prestige. Because of this, it is best to avoid patients with a lice infestation. If you are infected, you must visit the medical ward located in the right hall upon entering to ask a nurse for the hydrotherapy treatment to expel the lice.

If your Prestige resets without reason, contact an available high-rank nurse or a developer about the problem. The easiest way to gain contact is through the Divine Sister Discord. Ensure that if you are contacting a House Ruler+, ping them to ask to DM them unless their bio states otherwise. It is also helpful to take regular screenshots of your progress so that you can provide proof of your progress. Potential Prestige (the blinking yellow Prestige) cannot be restored.

A re-occurring bug is that once a Divinor fills their Prestige fully and survives the night to solidify their Prestige, the Prestige will remain blinking. Upon re-joining, the Prestige progress bar will fully reset. However, once you receive the UI stating that you have completed day 7, a bot will log it in an admin-only channel. If you still have concerns or the UI didn't appear, contact a developer.

Rewards[]

After a Citizen completes a day's path, they will receive a special prize. Below are the prizes for completing a Prestige Day.

Day 1: Pious Title

Day 2: Prestige Candle

Day 3: Malice Monster

Day 4: Blinding Cross

Day 5: Divine Necklace

Day 6: Holy Totem + Melon Delusion

Day 7: Entry into the Prestige event to compete for Torium Trainee.

Prestige Event[]

Once a user reaches day 7, they will receive the "Day 7 completionist" role on Discord. The user will also gain access to the #prestigious-room channel, which will discuss the starting time for a Prestige event and notify when it begins.

During a Prestige event, Divinors and Tourists join the game and are gathered at the bunker and given elevator passes. A new system is being tested with elevator keys rather than a pass. They enter the elevator and are led to the room for the main event. They will be given spears and fight to the death to win the event. Participants are required to get at least one kill and survive until the end.

Day 7 completionists who miss the event allocated to the month that they completed their Prestige will have another chance in the next event that is hosted. Due to bugs, developers have stated that users do not need to re-do the Prestige path to gain entry into future events. This is subject to change.

Every participant who passed will be announced and congratulated through the Divine Sister Discord server in the #holy-passers channel.
